Day 1: Welcome to the Land of Eternal Spring. Wellness, culture and relaxation awaits. Private transport will deliver you to the beautiful Spanish Colonial capital of Antigua Guatemala. Check into the peaceful Palacio de Dona Leonor, your home and sanctuary for the next few days. Wander through Antigua’s historical cobblestones, admire the volcanic backdrops, and architecture. Breeze into the evening and enjoy the evening hours and dinner amongst these historical colonial settings. Day 2: Begin the day with morning meditation, movement followed by a mindful, healthy, and nutritious breakfast. Explore the history of Antigua Guatemala with your private guide on a walking tour. Learn about her history, politics, restoration efforts and stories of centuries past. In the afternoon, gather for a private Mayan Fire Ceremony with a Shaman and feel first hand the power of our Mayan ancestry come alive. Meals: B Antigua
Day 3: Begin the day with morning meditation, movement followed by a mindful, healthy and nutritious breakfast. Today you have an opportunity to participate in a market visit and local cooking class or traditional Indigo textile class. Your afternoon is free for self practice or Antigua exploration. We will continue with a mindful activity in the evening before dinner time. Meals: B, L Antigua
Day 4: Begin the day with morning meditation, movement followed by a mindful, healthy, and nutritious breakfast. Private transport will deliver you safely to National Geographic’s most beautiful lake in the world, Lake Atitlán. Take a scenic boat ride and arrive to your accommodations at the beautiful and peaceful Villa Sumaya Retreat & Wellness Center in Santa Cruz La Laguna. Meals: B, D Lake Atitlán
Day 5: Begin the day with morning meditation, movement followed by a mindful, healthy, and nutritious breakfast. We will go on a mindful hike from Santa Cruz to the leafy town of Tzununá. The afternoon is free for a swim in Lake Atitlán’s deep refreshing sweet water. Mindful activities will resume in the afternoon. To end the day, we’ll gather for a healing Mayan steam sauna and ritual. Meals: B, D Lake Atitlán
Day 6: Begin the day with a sunrise hike to Indians Nose - watching the light fill up the magical views of Lake Atitlan. After you’ll have your morning meditation and movement followed by a mindful, healthy, and nutritious breakfast. The afternoon will be at your leisure; massages, swims, saunas, and enjoying your final evening soaking up the calming energy of the wonderful lake. Meals: B, L, D Lake Atitlán
Day 7: The morning will be filled with mindful movement mediation, yoga and then a nutrition breakfast to get you ready for your transfer to Guatemala’s volcanic black sand beach. We head to the surfer village of El Paredón on the Pacific Coast. Ocean therapy and colorful sunsets await over these tropical views. Day 8: Wake up early to watch the sun rising over the Pacific waves. Begin with a morning meditation and movement followed by a mindful, healthy and nutritious breakfast. A paddle board tour will show you around the lush Mangroves with still plenty of time for a leisurely swim or surf. We will continue with a mindful activity in the afternoon. Day 9: Begin the day with morning meditation and movement followed by a mindful, healthy and nutritious breakfast. Sunkissed, relaxed and recharged, a transfer into the country’s Capital will take you to the Hyatt Hotel. Enjoy the afternoon before a farewell dinner at a delicious top restaurant in the city. Day 10: Enjoy your last breakfast before private transport will deliver you safely and on time to Guatemala City International Airport for our departure flight. What a refreshing and revitalizing few days spent in Guatemala! Meals: B
